Riding at Malu
This is a wonderful area for riding, and we are fortunate in being able to ride at most times of the day thanks to the shade of the forest, although early morning and late afternoon are best, when it is cooler for the horses.
We have six horses, Ndume, Lulu, Tess, Glorious, Bella and Safi, and three donkeys: John, Sylvie and their baby, Ben.
Some of our horses are very well behaved and good with beginners and children, and John the donkey is able to take children up to about the age of eight for short rides.
A note on weight
We regret that we don’t have a horse able to take anyone over about 13 stone (185 lbs, 82 kg), and apologise for any disappointment this causes.
