More than a place to stay
Sunstone Beach was born out of a new vision for tourism in Burundi. The country lies at the heart of Lake Tanganyika, arguably one of Africa’s most beautiful regions, and yet the lake region is widely overlooked by the global tourism industry. We want to change that.
We have made it our mission to provide our guests with uniquely designed hospitality experiences that are rooted in nature and serenity. Thatched villas, bungalows and tents sit in gardens that run down to a private beach, with the mountains of the Congo rising across the water to the west.
The retreat is led by our Managing Director, Stanley Agade. We would love for you to be part of our journey.
